Happy New Year everyone. I know it’s been a while since my last post. I apologize for the delay but I’ve been out of the country for awhile but I’m back and ready for 2013. Before the end of 2012, I styled a men’s fashion shoot for photographer Randi Garrett. You can visit his site here. I actually meant to post these images last month but didn’t get a chance to (#photoshop issues). Anyway, I’m going to do things a little differently this time and highlight where to get some of the items in this post. In the past, I’ve gotten questions about where to find some things featured in my previous posts so here we go.
- The black and gold chronograph watch is by Hugo Boss and was available at Nordstrom but it’s currently sold out. However it’s still available on the Hugo Boss site. The white and gold watch in the lower pictures is part of the Nixon 51-30 chrono collection and can be found here (also at Nordstrom). Think the 51-30 are too big-face for you? Then try the Nixon 42-20 collection…seen here. Yes I know these watches are pretty expensive but if you’re in the mood for splurging, then these are nice pieces to add to your watch collection or you can always do what I do and stalk it until it goes on sale.
- The eyeglasses are by Ralph Lauren and can be found at your local Pearle Vision or LensCrafters or online here but of course you know that you can find much cheaper replicas of the nerd-chic style anywhere. Try a tortoise shell frame instead of the black rimmed style for a nice change.
- The blue blazer and polka dot shirt are by designer 4J Couture. See my previous post here for more details.
- The shoes are by Cole Haan and are a favorite of mine. They come in a variety of colors. Check it out here and here for more options.
- Finally, animal faces on shirts and sweaters are a pretty huge trend right now. I personally love this trend because it makes dressing up a lot more playful and quirky. Forever 21 has an awesome sweater selection for women and most importantly inexpensive like this with a kitten, or penguin. For men, try these tees from Urban Outfitters featuring cats, dogs and giraffes.
